Our special needs ministry exists to provide community, inclusion, and a place to belong for individuals with special needs and their families.

CHILDREN/PRESCHOOL INCLUSION
We believe God created all children and loves each and every one of them! We have a place for your child. Complete a Special Needs Profile, and someone from our ministry will contact you about placing your child in the proper class.
STUDENTS
Our Student Connect Group meets every Sunday at 10am and Student Discipleship meets Wednesdays from 6-8pm in Room 108. Each participant must complete a Special Needs Profile. No registration is required
ADULTS
Our Adult Connect Group meets every Sunday at 11:30am and Adult Discipleship meets Wedensdays from 6-8pm in Room 108. Each participant must complete a Special Needs Profile. No registration is required.
SERVE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
We are looking for volunteers who are teachable, kind, and who love God and others! No prior experience with Special Needs is required—just a willing heart!
All applicants must interview with the Special Needs team, and if selected, will be invited to observe as a “Potential Buddy.” Before serving in any class, volunteers must also complete both the Special Needs Volunteer Application and Safe Harbor process.
The Hub
Our special needs ministry, is looking for volunteers for their Sunday and Wednesday programs. On Sunday, there are opportunities during all hours, with the largest need at 10am. On Wednesday, there is one class from 6-8pm. Students with special needs in Middle and High School are invited to join our Connect Group on Sunday mornings at 10am in room 108! This class features worship, Bible lessons, and a FUN adaptive environment with Buddy support. This class is for students and adults with special needs (6th grade and up) who want to learn more about being a disciple of Jesus. We meet on Wednesday nights during the school year from 6-8pm in room 108. Every participant must fill out a Special Needs Support profile before attending. Special Needs Bowling is a program for persons with special needs and disabilities. The program meets every Saturday in October and the first Saturday in November. The start time is 10am each Saturday, and we will finish around 11:30am. Hey Shine Families!
