Short-term Mission Trips
We send our people on short-term trips across the country and around the world every year. These trips are gospel centered, partner focused, and discipleship oriented. Browse the list below and see which trip God might be leading you to participate in.
National Trips

Clarkston, GA: July 17-18, 2025
This team of 6th graders will serve with Love’s Latitude to host a block party at English Oaks. They will also have the opportunity to do a scavenger hunt around Clarkston to try different foods and have some encounters with different cultures , including gospel conversations.

Sevierville, TN: September 7-12, 2025
The team will be heading back to Wears Valley Ranch to continue supporting the ranch with ongoing maintenance projects at the ranch. They plan on having a ranch wide dinner for all the kids and house parents. This is a Men’s Only trip

Sevierville, TN: October 17-19, 2025
The purpose of the weekend family mission trip to Wears Valley Ranch is to support, encourage, and bless the staff and children through service and fellowship. Planned activities include landscaping, painting, staining, creek clearing, and light maintenance. The team will also engage in meaningful conversations with both staff and children. A special Ranch-wide dinner will be hosted to give house parents a break and provide opportunities for Johnson Ferry adults and children to actively interact with the staff and children at Wears Valley Ranch.

International Trips

Greece: August 31-September 9, 2025
The team will continue Johnson Ferry’s long-term ministry partnership by hosting a sports camp for teenagers, with a focus on disciple making and sharing the gospel. The team will provide the leadership and manpower for the camp itself, as well as encouraging and equipping the staff as they engage their community.

Amsterdam: September 19-25, 2025
This team will partner with Johnson Ferry’s long-term partners and Sent Ones. They will use art and history to engage with the community, share the Gospel, and serve refugees. The team is hosting a marriage event at a local church so they are specifically looking for couples to serve together.

South asia: August 13-19, 2025
Team will partner with long term JF partners and Sent One’s by providing care for the kids during a retreat.

Kenya & Tanzania: September 12-22, 2025
The trip focuses on evangelizing to African women at risk for trafficking, strengthening two 4:19 Discipleship groups, and supporting the spiritual growth of these individuals. Additionally, it aims to encourage and strengthen the African leaders of ATRM (African Transformative Rehabilitation Ministry).

Nicaragua: September 20-27, 2025
The team will share the love and Gospel of Christ in rural communities through various ministry activities with Chosen Children Ministries (CCM) churches. Ministry activities include VBS for children, men’s and ladies’ Bible studies, door-to-door prayer walks and evangelism, feedings, food bag distribution, and home construction.

Japan: October 9-18, 2025
The team will partner with JF Sent Ones as they work to support outreach efforts of local ministry partners and church organizations for a National Sports Day event. Additionally, the team will participate in and lead a homeless ministry sidewalk church service, distribute Gospel tract packets to local residents, and conduct a prayer walk while sharing testimonies as they take the perimeter transit train around Tokyo.

South Asia: October 23-November 1, 2025
The team will partner with ministries such as IMB and CRU, focusing on street evangelism. They will also take part in an ongoing Bible study with local seekers.

Albania: October 16-26, 2025
The team will support CRU Albania in their main fall outreach to freshman university students. They will host outreach events, meet students for coffee to share their testimonies and build relationships, and engage in evangelism on local university campuses.

Romania: June 17-27, 2026
This trip is in partnership with Global Missions Project supporting a longtime Johnson Ferry ministry partner, Harmony Baptist, through evangelistic concerts and worship services in and around Alba Lulia, Romania. Team will also be assisting in VBS style bible and music camp, block parties/festivals, and the dedication of the new Harmony Baptist Worship Center.
