We’ll lean into scripture and prayer as we consider tangible next steps, hear from experts in the field, and get insights from those who’ve gone before us on the journey.

Adoption & Foster Care is a beautiful journey full of many twists and turns. Join this weekly group designed to give families a community of people who are also on the journey. Whether you have toddlers or teens, you are welcome! Come join this group on Wednesday nights in room 335 from 6-7pm.

On the third Sunday of every month, we offer the official Membership Class, an informational session for adults considering membership at Johnson Ferry. This class is an essential part of the membership journey at Johnson Ferry.

An event for leaders of Sunday Groups, Women’s Ministry, Men’s Ministry, and Shine Teens/Adults Ministry. Be a part of the discussion on how our ministry areas can help people find belonging in Jesus. This event will begin downstairs in the Student High School Room and then move to breakout groups by ministry areas.

Mitch Verdell, Adults 60+ Pastor, will kick things off with a three-part series called What Delights God. We will look at three things in Scripture (Jeremiah 9, Mark 8, and Psalm 46) that bring joy to God. All Adults 60+ are invited to attend.

The Parent Commissioning services are the way our church family publicly recognizes Christian parents, commissioning them to raise their child(ren) in a God-honoring home. Crossover Sports are recreational leagues meant to challenge players both spiritually and physically. These leagues are recreational in nature, with an emphasis on player development and understanding the game from a tactical and technical standpoint. For those with loved ones living with cognitive decline, Care Partners provides a safe place where ideas, struggles, and hopes can be shared. This group meets monthly on the third Sunday of the month year-round. | No registration is required.

A 13-week seminar/support group for those who are separated or divorced. The class helps individuals cope with the hurt and pain of divorce. This group meets on Wednesdays in the Spring and Fall from 6:15-8pm in Room 339.

A 13-week seminar/support group for children aged 5-12 whose parents are separated or divorced. This group meets on Wednesdays in the Spring and Fall from 6:15-8pm at the same time as the adult group.

Hope After a Prodigal Loss meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 7-8:30pm in room 337 beginning on August 8. This is a Christ-centered group that provides an anchor in the storm after a stigmatized loss.

Threads of Grace meets on Mondays from 9:30-11:30am in Room 270/271 beginning on August 19. This is a prayer and sewing group (no skills required) to pray for and make baby quilts for the pregnant women in Embrace Grace and also at First Care Pregnancy Center. Childcare available.

This support group empowers widows who have been through GriefShare or who have done other grief therapy. Widow Strong is a 26-week curriculum divided into two 13-week seasons (Spring and Fall) and meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm. Preschool childcare and other children’s activities are available.

Join a group of young adults 23-29 who gather for Christ-centered community and biblical discussion. We meet weekly on Sundays at 10am in Room 341/343.
