Modern Worship
We exist to bring a culture of worship into the Johnson Ferry family.
Weekly gatherings are so sweet as we worship together, but it does not end there. Through the arts and original music, we hope to engage hearts, minds, and souls. We desire to worship Christ with our whole life.

What We Do
Worship Collective
Being together is just as important as a rehearsal.
And perhaps more so! At Johnson Ferry we have a large community of musicians and volunteers who are packed with talent. There was, however, a severe lack of time spent together. Worship Collective was created for the purpose of getting us together and consists of four elements:
1. A meal
2. Shared vision
3. Communion
4. Prayer
Currently Collectives are available to members of our existing community.
Worship Gathering
Nights of worship are beautiful times for the church to gather and give God great glory. Our Worship Gatherings are specific times that tie into the yearly rhythm of our church. Currently we have gatherings for Advent, Lent, and one in the fall called Worship Gathering: Move which partners with our global mission’s movement.
Songwriting
We write songs for the church that our people can sing. Songwriting has become a valuable part of our ministry at Johnson Ferry. What started as an experimental co-writing session between a couple of writers has blossomed into a thriving community of songwriters. We currently have two retreats each year, one in the Fall and Spring. This dedicated time away is usually three days and two nights in the Appalachian Mountains and includes shared meals, hiking, and lots of songwriting. God has really used this time to unite the hearts of our writers and given us some great songs! Spots are very limited for our retreats, but we’d love to hear from you if you’re interested.
