These are the secret sauce of the student ministry! Life Groups are designed to give students community and connection while growing in their knowledge of God’s word. Each group has 10 to 12 students with an adult leader who has committed to walk alongside them for their entire Middle School journey. Join us at 10am in the Middle School Room to have your student placed in a Life Group!

We believe that corporate worship is so important! Each week, the entire student ministry “packs the house” in the 11:30am service in the Activities Center. We want to encourage your student to join us in the student section on the front left side of the Activities Center.

This is our weekly gathering, during the school year (7pm in the Middle School Room) for students to unplug from the week, build relationships, engage in worship, and unpack Scripture. You can expect high energy, theme nights, and the best time of your life!

Middle School Choir gathers each week to build community as we sing together and infuse our lives with true words. Our rehearsals consist of learning new worship songs together and building community with a family-like atmosphere that allows students to find truth, belonging, & purpose in Jesus. In the Spring, we prepare for the Middle School Choir Tour, a way for our students to experience the power of worship on the mission field. We partner with local church planters and mission partners to serve during school breaks and celebrate the good news of the gospel through music. Our Middle School Choir travels over Spring Break and has been to Orlando, Nashville, Birmingham, and Chattanooga. These trips include block parties, concerts, and serving in whatever way is beneficial to our ministry partners in sharing Jesus with their city. Contact our Student Worship Team.

ONE WKND, hosted by Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, is an in-town weekend retreat November 6-9 where students in grades 6-12 stay in the home of a church member with some of their closest friends, study the Bible with guest leaders and enjoy amazing worship sessions at the church.
