Short-term Mission Trips
We send our people on short-term trips across the country and around the world every year. These trips are gospel centered, partner focused, and discipleship oriented. Browse the list below and see which trip God might be leading you to participate in.
National Trips

Miramar, FL: June 8-14, 2025
The team will support Lighthouse Family Retreat, a faith-based, non-profit that exists to strengthen families living through childhood cancer by putting on retreats to help families find hope, rest, joy, and restoration in Christ. Team members will join Lighthouse in putting on a retreat by providing tactical support for retreat activities such as meals, worship times, sessions for parents, and intentional time with families.

Clarkston, GA: July 17-18, 2025
This team of 6th graders will serve with Love’s Latitude to host a block party at English Oaks. They will also have the opportunity to do a scavenger hunt around Clarkston to try different foods and have some encounters with different cultures , including gospel conversations.

Sevierville, TN: September 7-12, 2025
The team will be heading back to Wears Valley Ranch to continue supporting the ranch with ongoing maintenance projects at the ranch. They plan on having a ranch wide dinner for all the kids and house parents. This is a Men’s Only trip

Sevierville, TN: October 17-19, 2025
The purpose of the weekend family mission trip to Wears Valley Ranch is to support, encourage, and bless the staff and children through service and fellowship. Planned activities include landscaping, painting, staining, creek clearing, and light maintenance. The team will also engage in meaningful conversations with both staff and children. A special Ranch-wide dinner will be hosted to give house parents a break and provide opportunities for Johnson Ferry adults and children to actively interact with the staff and children at Wears Valley Ranch.

International Trips

Uganda: June 6-14, 2025
The team will be teaching and investing in children from the DR Congo and Burundi who attend Bible schools within the refugee camps. To do this, they will be partnering with Teaching The Vine, a supported partner of Johnson Ferry.

Japan Summer Sent Ones: May 18-July 23, 2025
This is a Summer Sent Ones Trip. College students will partner with Johnson Ferry sent ones to engage in disciple-making, outreach, evangelism, and cross-cultural ministry during this 6-7 week trip. The students will be mentored and learn from field workers who are serving in various fields.

South Asia Summer Sent Ones:
May 18-July 28, 2025

Poland Summer Sent Ones:
May 18-July 23, 2025
Trip Participants will collaborate with Harmony Baptist Church in Romania to host a sports camp that serves as an outreach to the local community. This initiative helps the church establish a sustainable sports outreach program while providing an opportunity to share the gospel with the children attending the camp.

Romania:
June 20-28, 2025
Trip Participants will collaborate with Harmony Baptist Church in Romania to host a sports camp that serves as an outreach to the local community. Dominican Republic:
June 25-July 3, 2025
This team will partner with Operation Matt to work alongside local Baptist church plants to increase their presence in the community by providing a clinic that includes medical and eye examinations. Along with meeting the community’s physical needs, the team will also engage in evangelism and discipleship efforts.

Philippines: July 11-19, 2025
The team will partner with BP2 Asia, which uses Pickleball to share the gospel and discipleship. The team will host pickleball tournaments and clinics in Manila and connect with local churches.

Southeast Asia: July 3-13, 2025
The team will work with partners on the ground to provide training, encouragement, and gospel centered resources for preschool teachers and local believers.

Spain: July 5-13, 2025
The team will work alongside a long-time JF partner to support the work of local pastors and seminary leaders by helping in their first summer outreach and discipleship camp for students 12-18, and by providing a much needed help in their community evangelism effort.

Kenya & Tanzania: September 12-22, 2025
The trip focuses on evangelizing to African women at risk for trafficking, strengthening two 4:19 Discipleship groups, and supporting the spiritual growth of these individuals. Additionally, it aims to encourage and strengthen the African leaders of ATRM (African Transformative Rehabilitation Ministry).

Nicaragua: September 20-27, 2025
The team will share the love and Gospel of Christ in rural communities through various ministry activities with Chosen Children Ministries (CCM) churches. Ministry activities include VBS for children, men’s and ladies’ Bible studies, door-to-door prayer walks and evangelism, feedings, food bag distribution, and home construction.

Japan: October 9-18, 2025
The team will partner with JF Sent Ones as they work to support outreach efforts of local ministry partners and church organizations for a National Sports Day event. Additionally, the team will participate in and lead a homeless ministry sidewalk church service, distribute Gospel tract packets to local residents, and conduct a prayer walk while sharing testimonies as they take the perimeter transit train around Tokyo.

South Asia: October 23-November 1, 2025
The team will partner with ministries such as IMB and CRU, focusing on street evangelism. They will also take part in an ongoing Bible study with local seekers.

Albania: October 16-26, 2025
The team will support CRU Albania in their main fall outreach to freshman university students. They will host outreach events, meet students for coffee to share their testimonies and build relationships, and engage in evangelism on local university campuses.
