Summer Sermon Series
Join us starting May 24 and get ready to rediscover some stories from the Bible in a whole new way! This series dives into the narratives many of us first heard as kids, stories that may feel simple on the surface but carry deep, life-changing truth.
Each week, we’ll find ourselves in a new story and uncover how these moments in Scripture still speak powerfully into our lives today. You may know the story, but you’ve never seen it quite like this.

Summer Reading Club
Join the Johnson Ferry Library this summer for our Summer Reading Club from May 26 to August 3, and dive into adventures filled with animals, imagination, and fun. To sign up and get more information, visit our Library!

Vacation Bible School
June 22-25 | 9am-12pm
Grab your lab coat and safety goggles—it’s time for Truth Labs! This VBS, kids will step into the lab and put God’s Word under the microscope as we explore how the Bible is true, trustworthy, and unchanging. Through experiments, high-energy worship, engaging Bible stories, and tons of fun, kids will discover that God’s truth stands up to every test.

Registration opens Tuesday, April 14—right after Spring Break! The cost is $100 per child for the first week and $85 for each additional week. Please note that all campers must be fully and reliably potty-trained.
You can pick up an application at Johnson Ferry or find it online starting April 14.
Summer Lunches
Summer is no fun without lunch! Join us in serving our friends at apartment complexes off of Delk Road on Mondays & Wednesdays starting June 3. Most of the children we will serve are on free or reduced lunches, and during the summer, food insecurity can be at an all-time high. If you’re interested, let our team know below!
AFC Summer Social
June 7 | 12:30-2:30pm
We can’t wait for our Sumer Social on June 7! All adoptive & foster families, AFC care community members, AFC volunteers, & friends of the ministry are invited! Lunch provided, no cost. Please RSVP by June 1!
Young Married’s Community night
June 16 |7-9pm
Join our monthly gathering for engaged and young married couples in their 20s and 30s to share meals and build community. No agenda, no expectations, just hangs. Dinner will be provided!
Adult 60+ Summer Picnic
June 24 | 6-8pm
We invite you to attend our Adults 60+ Picnic. Please bring your own dinner in a brown bag, and we will supply beverages and desserts. The event will be held at the Pavilion starting at 6pm. Please bring your favorite outdoor game, and we will also have activities like cornhole for you to enjoy. Whether you prefer to participate in games or observe, you are sure to have a wonderful evening!
Grand Camp
July 14 & 15 | 9am-12pm
You’re invited to Grand Camp! Together, you’ll step into a favorite Bible story and experience it in a fun, hands-on way through worship, Teeny Tykes & Tunes, crafts, games, and more all with your grandchildren. Every moment is intentionally created for you to enjoy side-by-side, building connection and faith in a meaningful (and super fun!) way.
This year, we’re excited to offer two unique camp experiences, so you can choose the day that works best—Tuesday, Wednesday, or come for both and double the fun!
Special Needs Summer Dance Party

Special Needs Students and Adults, get ready for the BEST NIGHT of the Summer! July 15 from 6:30-8:30pm, join us for ONE spectacular night of dancing and FUN! This is a great opportunity to invite your friends.
The Essentials
Starting July 12
Explore the seven foundational aspects of following Christ. Whether you are new to the faith or a long-time believer seeking to grow as a thriving follower of Christ, this class is for you. Together, we will discover what it means to live a life rooted in Christ, practice the five ways of Jesus, and experience the joy of being part of a vibrant church community.
