A Weekend Retreat for 6-12 Graders
Get ready for the biggest, craziest, and most awesome weekend of your life! ONE WKND, hosted by Johnson Ferry, is an in-town weekend retreat November 5–8 for middle and high school students. Throughout the weekend, students will spend time with friends, hear engaging teaching from a guest speaker, experience powerful worship, and have an unforgettable time together.
You won’t want to miss it!
ONE WKND IS GROWING
Last year, we reached the capacity of our host home model at around 1,000 students. To make room for even more students in the future, we’re making an exciting change this year.
High school students will continue staying in host homes, while middle school students will participate in all ONE WKND activities before heading home each evening. Middle schoolers will also have a new Friday night experience designed just for them!

LEADING THE WAY
Grant Partrick
Grant Partrick is the pastor of Gem City Church. He is dedicated to teaching the Word of God and shepherding the people of God through the local church.
God changed Grant’s life as a college student in 2008 through the ministry of Passion Conferences, and soon after, God began to stir Grant’s heart toward ministry and to develop in him a deep love for the Church. Grant joined the team at Passion City Church in 2014 where he served in various leadership roles over the course of 12 years. Grant earned his Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2021. While serving in the local church and studying theology, God started to put a new dream in Grant’s heart—planting a local church. He cares deeply about building a spiritual family that enjoys and amplifies the glory of God.

Our Johnson Ferry Worship Band and Sing Team is a group of creative people who have been brought into a family by the grace of Jesus. We have the privilege of leading our modern weekly service in worship. We play contemporary music that is engaging and energetic without sacrificing the truth of scripture.

HOW TO SERVE
Being a leader for this event is a huge responsibility. We are
looking for leaders who are consistently walking with Jesus and
who have a desire to impact students for Christ. We expect leaders
to be spiritually prepared by studying the curriculum and by praying
for God to speak through you during the weekend.
