WHERE WE STAY

PACE UNIVERSITY

We are so excited to be staying at Pace University this year, where we will gather for worship, Family Group Time, and sleeping arrangements.

*More detailed information about the facility coming soon!*

WHAT WE DO

Each day our family groups will be headed out with their assigned church planter for the week to serve with them in their neighborhood. Ministry activities will vary, but will most likely include:

  • Trash Pick-Up
  • Serving in Local Schools
  • Passing out Free Coffee
  • “Mommy + Me” Music in the Park
  • Landscaping + Repairs
  • Prayer Walking.

In addition to serving with their church planter, groups will come together for three block parties/concerts for three of our church plants where they will have the opportunity to share the gospel through conversations, bracelets, and through worship.

As we head back to New York this year, we cannot possibly accomplish what the Lord is calling us to do without the guidance and protection of the Holy Spirit. We are asking you to partner with us and seek the Lord in what areas He is leading you to cover our team and the people of New York in prayer.

Please refer to our Prayer Guide HERE.

We will be travelling via subway to all of our locations, except to and from the airport.

K
L
What are you doing to ensure my child is safe in NYC?

Students will always be with at least one adult and with their small “Family group” between sites. We will also be with the church planter or someone from their church staff who lives in the neighborhood at all times. They know their community well and will never send our team somewhere they don’t feel comfortable sending their own families.

What is the cell phone policy for NYC?

Students are rarely given the opportunity to unplug from the constant stream of distractions, drama, and temptation that go hand-in-hand with smartphone use. We believe that God wants to use this week as a unique period of time in each of these student’s lives where they can focus on what God is doing in them and the world. While students will have their phones, we will be encouraging them to limit their cell phone usage during the trip. We are also asking all parents to partner with us to encourage the same.

You can read more about our cell phone policy HERE.
