MENTORING
Alpha Mu (Relational Discipleship)

- 11-month program
- 2 mentors + 4-6 mentees
- Off-Campus meetings
- Group meets monthly + one-on-one peer meeting + one-on-one mentor meeting
- Groups start in Aug/Sept and Jan/Feb
- An environment of significant learning, growth, and community
- Mentors are generally a generation ahead of mentees
- Signed covenant (accountability and time commitment) required
- Two Retreats (one-night story retreat, two-night commencement retreat)
- Monthly Scripture memory
- Read a book per month based on the topic
- Monthly exercises on a particular topic
- Next Step- personal ministry plan + gifts/purpose + multiplication

Hey JF Men! Join us for an impactful in-town Retreat at 955 Johnson Ferry Road on March 20-21, 2026. We’ll explore how God’s purpose aligns with our ambitions, helping us find truth and belonging in Jesus. Don’t miss this chance for growth! Come join the men of the Church on Thursday, March 26, from 6-7pm in the Children’s Worship Center as we gather together for prayer and Scripture reading, seeking God’s guidance. Your presence is important. Pastor Clay Smith & his wife, Terrica, invite our widows and widowers to join them and our JF ministers for lunch on Monday, April 20, at noon in the Fellowship Hall.
