Wow, what an eventful day we have had! It has been such a wonderfully crazy day, and we want to recap it for you.
Our early morning turned into a lot of waiting around in the ATL airport, but your students were truly shining the light of Jesus from the moment they started this trip! They were kind and gracious, always saying “thank you” and “you got it.” We are so proud of the way they represented you and Johnson Ferry well.
Our flights were delayed about an hour, so we got into the Dominican Republic around 11:30am and 2:00pm. We lost a few bags along the way, but our leadership team is working hard to make sure all their students have clothes, sheets, and most importantly… a toothbrush! 🙂
We are excited to kick off our sessions tonight with some time for personal reflection. We will be studying Jesus calming the storm. Would you be praying that your students’ hearts would be willing and open to receive a Word from the Lord tonight? Sunday is coming! We can’t wait to celebrate Easter here in the DR tomorrow.
