Missions isn’t only for adults—even the smallest in our communities can play a meaningful role in what God is doing around the world. In this breakout, Sarah Nunnally will equip families and leaders with practical tools and intentional strategies to confidently include the youngest generation in the Great Commission. From everyday moments to extraordinary impact, it’s never too early to learn that God’s heart is for all people and places.

Chris Clayman
Executive Director of Joshua Project
Phases of Engagement
This breakout session will walk through a tool Joshua Project developed in collaboration with multiple mission entities to better describe gospel progress among people groups and aid mission workers in strategic planning. It will walk through the phases of gospel progress among a people group, all the way from "waiting for engagement" to "sustained church presence." It will also walk through around a dozen accelerators that can help the mission work progress through the different phases. We have developed this framework to give much more definition to the status of engagement among people groups and to give a better picture of the work that is needed among unreached peoples.

Not Imported, but Incarnated: Contextualization That Empowers the Local Church
This breakout casts a vision for sending churches to see the gospel take deep root across cultures, forming churches that truly belong to their people and place. Participants will explore how faithful contextualization that is grounded in Scripture and practiced with humility, leads to indigenous leadership and churches where the gospel is incarnated, not merely imported.

Reimagining Missions in an Urban Age
God is bringing the nations of the world into the orbit of the great cities of the world, stitching together everyone from everywhere. The missiological currents we once chased 'abroad' from primarily Western Christendom are now rising in every global city. Like new 'Roman roads,' through ideas, migration, capital, and culture, our paths are converging into this connected network of cities. Join us as we consider this unique urban moment and the opportunity for churches to reimagine how they might engage cities with the gospel, providing answers to the spiritual longings of the age.

He has worked with young adults interested in missions for two decades, helping them navigate the complexities of reaching the mission field. He has a passion for reaching the unreached and has a unique gifting to help young adults find their role in that task of making disciples of all nations.
On Fire or Flaming Out? How to Help Young Adults Continue Their Missions Journey After Short-Term Trips
If you ask a long-term missionary when they first sensed a calling to the mission field, a short-term trip is almost always the answer. Short-term trips are an amazing way to remove the distractions of everyday life, experience different cultures, and hear from God in a powerful way. Many young adults come back from short-term trips fired up to give their lives more fully to Christ and are dreaming of a life on the mission field. Yet, a few months later, that fire has disappeared, the call forgotten, and life has carried on like normal. This breakout session will focus on helping church leaders provide opportunities for short-term participants to maintain the fire they come home with and avoid flaming out as they settle into life's routines.
