Your giving above the regular tithe allows Johnson Ferry to equip the church, engage the lost and embrace the nations through Bible translation and distribution, church planting, short-term mission trips and ministry to the vulnerable. Pray about your part in the MOVE Missions Offering. You will have the opportunity to give a six-month faith pledge in all worship services on Sunday, March 3.
Johnson Ferry partners with Wycliffe Associates, a translation ministry, to provide the Word of God in the heart languages of Unreached People Groups. Last year, Johnson Ferry funded translation projects for 3 different languages in the Philippines, Democratic Republic of Congo, & Papua New Guinea.
The local church is essential to advancing Christ's kingdom. Johnson Ferry desires to strengthen the church worldwide and is specifically engaged in supporting efforts in San Francisco, New York City, Cuba, Dominican Republic, South Asia, and locally in Atlanta.
Throughout Scripture Jesus calls us to care for those who are vulnerable. Johnson Ferry seeks to show compassion and minister to the refugee, orphan, unborn, homeless, trafficked, widow, and prisoner through hands-on ministry and our partner organizations.
Approximately 65% of the MOVE missions offering goes to support mission trips. Johnson Ferry is committed to paying 50% of the cost for Johnson Ferry members, plus all ministry expenses. Last year, 1,977 people participated in 89 trips to 40 countries, resulting in 3,315 decisions for Christ.
In addition to giving, we encourage you to prayerfully consider committing to serve in local ministries, going on a short-term trip or exploring a long-term career in missions.
