Middle School Ministry

At Johnson Ferry, we are dedicated to helping teenagers live their faith twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. That’s why, in addition to our regular Sunday Worship, we offer a variety of other exciting activities for our Middle School students.

Element meets every Sunday morning at 9:50 a.m. in Student Center North for large group teaching and small group discussion. Each small group is led by an incredible adult who loves hanging out with teenagers.  If you are new and need help finding a small group to connect with, give us a call at the student offices; or stop by the welcome desk outside the Student Center one Sunday morning and our volunteers will get you settled in!

On April 18 at noon in the Activities Center, our special Good Friday Student Service will feature guest speakerChris Brooks as well as worship led by Unhindered,  All students are invited to attend.  Be sure to check with your school about their dismissal policy.

Frenzy is the Wednesday night environment for Middle School Students. Grades 6th-8th are invited to come and hang with their friends and listen to some awesome music and engaging communicators. We meet in Student Center North from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. each Wednesday night throughout the school year.  Frenzy resumes on Wednesday, August 14th!

Dallas Mission Trip

This mission trip exposes our 7th and 8th grade students to a variety of missions like leading VBS  teams at apartments with children.  Students will be assigned to a family group and will also be given a “team” assignment like puppets, Bible lessons, recreation, etc.  The trip is May 30 - June 6 and costs $250

Clarkston Mission Trip

Clarkston is one of the most globablly diverse cities in the country, and we can’t wait to serve them again with our 6th graders. This trip will consist of a few main settings: backyard Bible clubs, block parties, and working alongside other mission organizations. Johnson Ferry has a long standing partnership with churches in Clarkston and this will be a great 1st exposure to missions.  The trip is June 25-28 and costs $85
