Embracing the Ends of the Earth

There are still over 3,000 Unreached Unengaged People Groups who have not heard the truth of the Gospel.  Johnson Ferry has made a long-term commitment to adopting (or what we call embracing) ten of these people groups.

What is a UUPG?

A UUPG is a distinct people group somewhere in the world with few to no believers and no one trying to reach them with the gospel.

How many of the ten people groups have we committed to embracing so far?

A total of two and counting: One in the Middle East, and one in Atlanta.

What do we mean by embrace?

By embracing, we mean a commitment to pray for this people group, engage them with the gospel, and implement a long-term church planting strategy.

Evangelism Training

Here at Global Ministries, we believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is still "the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16). In this light, each year we train all of our volunteer teams to understand what is the gospel and how to effectively communicate it to others.

Each mission trip participant is required to attend the Live Evangelism Training.
