Getting to the Church
Johnson Ferry is located at 955 Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta. The church is north of the Lower Roswell Road intersection and before Woodlawn Drive. (Click here for map and driving directions.)
- Where Do I Park?
We reserve parking for first time guests in the south parking lot, right outside the Chapel. (Click here for a map.)
We also have shuttles that run from 7:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m. They are located at the Chick-fil-A just north of the church and at the Olde Towne Plaza just south of the church across from the ball fields. We have additional parking directly across Johnson Ferry Road at the Crossings Center Office Park. A police officer will assist you in crossing the street.
- How Do I Dress?
Dress comfortably. While some attendees do wear their "Sunday best," most folks wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning. Don't worry about what you wear--just come prepared to have a wonderful time of worship and fellowship!
- What Do I Bring?
A Bible will help you to follow along in worship and in Bible Study. If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church. Our Pastor, Bryant Wright, refers to the Bible often during his messages. If you don't have a Bible, or forgot to bring your Bible, Bibles are available in the Sanctuary pews.
- When Do I Need To Arrive?
Sunday services and Bible Studies begin at 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. (See our complete schedule). Arrive fifteen minutes before your desired worship/Bible study time to allow for parking traffic.
- Where Do My Children Go?
Johnson Ferry has excellent preschool and children's ministries. Greeters are just inside our entrances fifteen minutes before every service and our Redcoat volunteers will assist you in getting your children to their class or department. We offer preschool childcare from bed babies through 5 years. Your children (grades 1-3) won't want to miss NOISE, our Kids Church, held simultaneously with our 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Sunday services. Sunday Bible Study classes are offered for all ages.
- What About Child Security?
We take child security seriously at JFBC. Each child must be registered at either the Preschool Welcome Desk or the Children's Ministry office before entering a Sunday School class. A security slip is given to the parent and must be presented at departure. Additional security measures and personnel are on campus to ensure the safety of every attendee.
