God has an incredible purpose for every student’s life! High School Institute is designed to equip students to follow Jesus and realize God's purpose. When students register for Institute classes, they experience live teaching environments on Sunday nights, 7-8:30 p.m. that also challenge them through home study plans and study groups for community learning.
During the first session (6 weeks), classes include a book study on Genesis, a leadership class covering How to Study the Bible, and Images – a topical study on how being made in God’s image impacts social issues and our lives. High School Institute is a discipleship opportunity that shapes students, builds the church and changes the world. The kick-off event is Sunday, September 13, 7 p.m. in the Student Center, and is open to all high school students. Session one registration will be available soon for classes that begin September 20.
Participants may select one of the three classes available during the first session of the High School Institute:
- Genesis, an in-Depth Genesis Bible Study led by Brian Wetherholt
- How to Study the Bible, a Leadership Bible Study Class led by Chris Trent
- Image & Identity, a study on How our Identity Impacts our Life Today led by Erin McAnnally
