We LOVE middle school students! REALLY! These years can be wild, weird and wacky, but we believe that God wants to use middle school students right now to impact the world for Christ. Through our weekly programming and mission trips, our hope is to reach and disciple students for Jesus while showing them that Christianity can be fun and exciting!
LifeGroups meet every Sunday morning at 9:50 a.m. in Student Center North for large group teaching and small group discussion. Each small group is led by an incredible adult who loves hanging out with teenagers. If you are new and need help finding a small group, contact the student offices or stop by the welcome desk outside the Student Center on Sunday morning and our volunteers will help you get connected.
Frenzy is the Wednesday night environment for students in grades 6-8 to hang with their friends and listen to awesome music and engaging communicators. Frenzy meets in Student Center North, 7-8 p.m. each Wednesday night through the school year.
Middle School choir rehearsal takes place Wednesdays, 6 p.m. in the Rehearsal Hall (Room 308). Choir provides students a place for worship and a fun environment for building friendships. Students have periodic opportunities to lead music during Sunday morning services at Johnson Ferry and other sites in metro Atlanta. During Spring Break, students may participate in the Middle School Choir Mission Tour that includes concert performances and mission work. No registration required.
At the beginning of each summer, our 7th & 8th grade students may participate in our annual trip to Dallas, Texas where they participate in backyard Bible clubs, food pantries, clothing ministries and other mission sites unique to Dallas.
Our 6th grade students may participate in our annual trip to nearby Clarkston, Georgia in June. On this three-night trip, we minister to refugees from all over the world that have come and settled here in Atlanta. We believe if you love Clarkston, you love the World.
