Come and tour over 33-acres of winning exhibitions, historic houses, enchanting gardens, interactive activities, and a variety of year-round programs. New in 2019, the History Center is featuring the Cyclorama Experience. This interpretation considers the role of slavery in the Civil War, detailed military questions related to the country's deadliest war, and the impacts of the conflict on American history, reconstruction, segregation, and the Civil Rights Movement.
Participants meet at the Magnolia Room entrance no later than 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 9. The church buses depart at 9:15 a.m. and return at 4 p.m.
Cost is $35/person and includes lunch at the History Center.
