High School Ski Retreat to Copper Mountain, Colorado February 19-23!
Cost is $825 and includes: Round trip airfare from Atlanta to Denver, four nights condo-style lodging with full kitchens, two dinner meals, three day pass for ski lifts and rentals, t-shirt, all programming, and airport transfers.
NOT included: All other meals, helmet rental, and ski/snowboarding lessons.
Students stay in six-person condo units (slope side) at Copper Mountain Resort. Each unit has a full kitchen. During the first day, students stop at a grocery store to buy food and supplies to save money on meals. Students participate in mandatory nightly worship and Bible study each evening, and enjoy the mountain during the day. Options include renting a helmet (recommended), skis/snowboards, and first-timer lessons.
Q: Am I able to fly on points or frequent flier miles?
A: Yes, but the schedule has to match our arrival time in Denver. The group is flying United Airlines. Those traveling separately must communicate plans with the Student Ministry office by October 30.
Q: Can I bring my own equipment? How does it affect the price?
A: Yes, but you need to pay baggage fees related to travel. Contact the Student Ministry office for the rate adjustment.
Q: How much do lessons cost if we choose to take them?
A: Lesson costs will be available at a later date. Based on last year’s costs, all-day lessons are roughly $90-100.
Q: Are students allowed to choose a roommate?
A: Yes, and we do our best to accommodate all requests. Those decisions are made closer to the retreat once everyone has registered.
Q: Can we register after the deadline?
A: Maybe. Once we fill up or release airfare and lodging, available spots are not guaranteed. We will do our best—but the best thing to do is register EARLY. Space is limited.
Q: Are restaurants available for when meals are not covered?
A: Yes, but keep in mind resort pricing. Students have the option of preparing their own food in the condo or eating on the slopes/resort area for the three lunches and two dinners. Other meals are during travel days and most likely are in the airports.
NOTE: For security reasons, all online registrations will require you to login to your account on our website.
