Crossroads @ JFBC monthly Network meeting
The next monthly meeting will be August 2nd from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Loft (3rd Floor) No RSVP needed. All are welcome.
Resume reviews and coaching @ 6:15 p.m.

• Meetings are the 1st Monday of the month.
• Each network meeting will offer a 2-hour program that includes a career related topic presented by expert speakers as well as a time of devotion and prayer, networking time and resume reviews. Generally we have Resume reviews at 6:15pm, followed a featured speaker from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. After the speaker we open up for Networking time.
• Meetings are open to anyone and are free of charge.

• The Crossroads Career® Explorer course "Maximize Your Career in The New World of Work" is a Biblically based seven-week course devised to assist individuals who are at a crossroad in their careers.
• The course is offered in the evenings, in February, May and September. 
• This course is focused toward those who are unemployed, misemployed or seeking God's direction in their career choice.
• The course includes spiritually-based practical tools to manage emotional and relationship issues, discover each individual's unique qualities, explore the marketplace, develop winning resumes, identify opportunities and prepare for interviews, negotiations and job selection. Our small group format provides prayer support and encouragement.

Career Assistance

Workshops
1.5 day workshop. A Career Explorers “crash course”. Workshop includes selected topics and is offered in April, June, July, August, between scheduled CE courses

Coaching
Volunteers are available to speak on career related topics, including interviewing, job search, resume writing etc.

Job Leads (JFBCJobNet)
Explorers receive a daily digest of job leads from local employers and recruiters via e-mail. 

Industry Guides Networking
Explorers have access to JFBC Members who agree to take a networking call. They provide advice, industry specific guidance and encouragement. Attend the network meeting to get a contact.

Fill out our Crossroads Career® Network registration form to begin the process. After registering, you will be sent an email with instructions on accessing information through the Crossroads Career® Network web site.

Corporations, small businesses, recruiters, and other organizations are encouraged to forward current job openings to crossroads@jfbc.org.

To reach career explorers registered with other crossroads churches, we encourage you to also post jobs on www.crossroadscareer.org

We invite JFBC members or regular attendees with a passion for helping the unemployed/misemployed to serve in this ministry. We are seeking individuals with one or more of the following traits.

• Individuals with specialized skills (recruiters, human resource professionals, career consultant/coaches/counselors)
• Anyone who has personally walked through a career crossroad
• Individuals who are spiritually gifted in hospitality, encouragement, and helps
• Someone who just loves the Lord and cares for people!
