College Ministry

From the time you enter the doors of Johnson Ferry, the College Ministry encourages community.  Roots meets every Sunday morning at 9:50 am. to hear and discuss the Word of God. This is an excellent opportunity for you to grow your faith and connect with each other followed by contemporary worship at 11:15 a.m.  Schedules during the college years call for flexibility and the need for community is great. We make the effort in small groups, social activities and summer mission trips to give everyone the opportunity to become involved and connect with each other.

Roots

Every Sunday morning we gather and grow in Christ through hearing the Bible taught and then discussing the message in small groups.  This is the place for you to come and connect with other college students in the north Atlanta area! Join us each Sunday at 9:50 am. in the Landing (room 272/274) and then come to worship with us at 11:15 am. in the new Activities Center.

Mission Trips

Malawi

June 25- July 5. This is an all girl trip, led by Brooke Wright, in which we work with an organization called Children of the Nations. This trip is a smaller more intimate group and the trip that will be doing orphan care, women's discipleship, and sports ministry.  For more information about this trip email brooketwright@gmail.com!

Zimbabwe

June 10-21.  We are so excited to be heading back to Zimbabwe to work with our friends Chris and Norma.  We will be staying at their wonderful ranch, Morning Star, and doing ministry in the Motopo Hills region. Some of our ministry activities are going to be: working at a couple of Orphan feeding stations, doing construction/repairs for local widows, agricultural work/outreach, a community movie night, and working with Morning Star's micro business that brings women from the community to make products that are sold in their "tuck shop" with all proceeds going back into the community. This is an amazing place full of people who will steal your heart. We have completed our team of 30 for this trip.  Please be in prayer for our team and the work to be done in Zimbabwe!
