From the time you enter the doors of Johnson Ferry, the College Ministry encourages community. Roots meets every Sunday morning at 9:50 am. to hear and discuss the Word of God. This is an excellent opportunity for you to grow your faith and connect with each other followed by contemporary worship at 11:15 a.m. Schedules during the college years call for flexibility and the need for community is great. We make the effort in small groups, social activities and summer mission trips to give everyone the opportunity to become involved and connect with each other.

Every year the JFBC College Ministry takes a group of students to Breckenridge, CO for three full days on the slopes after their finals are over. We stay at thePeak 9 Inn at Liftside, which is a convenient ski-in/ski-out complex. This is always an awesome trip and you definitely do not want to miss it!
2013 Dates: December 18-22.
Dates: March 9-15
This is an all girl trip usually taken at the end of June, led by Brooke Wright, in which we work with an organization called Children of the Nations. This trip is a smaller more intimate group that does a combination of orphan care, women's discipleship, and sports ministry.
This is a larger, co-ed trip led by Thomas Nelson, his wife Heather, and the College Ministry Girls' Associate, Casey Murphy. For the past two summers we have headed to Zimbabwe in early June to work with our friends Chris and Norma Ferguson. We stay at their wonderful ranch, Morning Star, and do ministry in the Motopo Hills region. Some of our ministry activities include: vbs/children's ministry, school visits and local education enrichment, construction/repairs, agricultural work/outreach, home visits, a community movie night, and working with Morning Star's micro business that brings women from the community to make products that are sold in their "tuck shop" with all proceeds going back into the community. This is an amazing place full of people who will steal your heart.
