Johnson Ferry's Children's Ministry strives to provide a Biblical foundation for a lifetime relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Our core values are built into the very heart of every children's program:
- To be more like Jesus
- To have knowledge and love of God's Word
- To be mission-minded
- To be child-friendly
- To provide relationship building opportunities
Living a Christ-centered lifestyle with the ability to apply God's Word is Johnson Ferry's focus of teaching while providing a safe, secure, challenging and fun environment that is developmentally age appropriate.

Visiting Johnson Ferry
We love visitors at Johnson Ferry and cannot wait to meet your family on Sunday mornings!
To make your visit as easy as possible, please park in the Visitor Parking on the South side of the building and enter through the South Atrium. A friendly face will greet you at the door and show you to our Children's Visitor Desk where your children will be put into Sunday Bible Study classes and given security nametags. Afterwards, a host will escort your family to their classrooms and answer any questions you may have.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Sunday Mornings for Children
On Sunday mornings, Bible study classes are offered for children Birth through 5th grade at all three hours. Please check in at the Visitor's Desk in the South Atrium to visit a Sunday school class. NOISE Children's Worship is also available for K-3rd graders at the 9:50 hour.
Children's Worship
In Psalm 150, we are called to make a joyful noise to God and that's exactly what we are doing in children's worship here at Johnson Ferry.
Join us at 9:50 in the Chapel for a time of worship, Bible teaching, skits, games and much more as we praise God together and learn about His word.
This service is for Kindergarten - 3rd Grade. Doors open 15 minutes before service time to receive children. Learn More!

Interested in Serving as a Camp Counselor?
We need counselors and junior counselors to help make camp happen. It is an amazing week where you will shepherd and disciple a group of children in Bible study, track times, and in your cabin. Plus, you get to participate with children during free time and worship. It is a really fun week. We are currently accepting applications for Adult counselors (college age or older) and Junior Counselors (current 10th - 12th graders). If you are interested, please fill out an application online.
After submitting your application, you will receive an email confirmation. THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED AS A CAMP COUNSELOR. Applications will be reviewed by the Children's Ministry staff. Those selected to come to camp will be contacted by Sheryl Beck. Once you are accepted, counselors are expected to pay a $50 deposit as a commitment to serve at camp and to help cover the counselor costs. Thank you for your interest!
