In our orchestra you will find a very committed group of individuals who are dedicated to using their God-given talents and abilities for the glory of God. The Johnson Ferry Orchestra is open to adults and advanced high school players, who have committed their lives to Jesus Christ, are living for His glory, and can consistently attend rehearsals and participate in Sunday services.
Gifted players within the JF Bands enhance contemporary services while ushering worshippers to the throne of God. These musicians are important to the success of our multiple contemporary services on both campuses and are available by audition. Horn players are periodically added to the contemporary mix through the Praise Band while the Gospel Jazz Band jumps in on the blended traditional services and many outside venues.
There are multiple handbell choirs including an outstanding group for adults, the 'Bells of Johnson Ferry' along with opportunities for other various age groups.
Creative artists seek to make visible the glory and character of an invisible God
Student Drama Institute for 2nd-12th graders meets on Sunday afternoons. Troupes are split up according to age group, and each troupe enjoys improv games and rehearses scripts for various performance opportunities. Interested adult dramatists are encouraged to call for an audtition.
