NOW - July 25 It's "BAG" to school time!  Adopt a child that needs a BOOKBAG and school supplies.  Pick an age and a gender and put together their special Back to School Bag.�
In each bag please provide:

notebook paper
#2 pencils/ erasers
crayons or colored pencils
3 ring binder
spiral notebook
glue sticks

YOU can personalize with a note, prayer, picture or extra supplies.
Book Bags should be dropped off at the church by July 25.

JULY 30- Paint at Wheeler - 9am-noon

JULY 30 - BLOCK PARTY and BOOK BAG DISTRIBUTION -

1-4PM ÂWe will cookout, face paint, moonwalk, hand out bookbags and minister to these children as we help get them excited for school.

NEED COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS?  If you need hours for school, for a traffic ticket, or just because you like to help...call us and we will help you with opportuntities to get those hours done!

  

Would  you like to be part of a RESOURCE NEEDS email group?? Many times we are alerted of needs in the community that we could fill with quick communication.  For instance if someones home burns down or a tragedy strikes and there are needs for specific items of furniture, clothing, food.  We would love to have a database that we send information to help us network and react quickly.  Would you like to be in this list?   Send your email to lisa.joyner@jfbc.org and we will put you in the group.  (you can also email to leave the group at any time).

 

Would you like to serve our single moms or elderly neighbors with your gifts and resources?
We would like to have people to notify when someone has a need such as a small home project, yardwork, errands, etc.  We all need a little help sometimes and our church body can lend a hand when there is not other family to assist.  Send your email to lisa.joyner@jfbc.org to be added to the group.
