Johnson Ferry Choir – Can you hear me now?

We’d love to hear YOU lift up your voice in praise! If you’ve got a passion for worship, why not come and join the Johnson Ferry Choir this fall? The Johnson Ferry Choir is a worshiping community that leads in our Majestic worship services every Sunday at 8:30, 9:50, and 11:15, along with seasonal presentations. We are praying for new members on our team. Won’t your consider joining one of our two rehearsal options on Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. or 7:00 – 8:45 p.m. ? Have questions? Parenting Seminar - Overcoming Bad Attitudes

Join Dr. Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller from the National Center for Biblical Parenting on Friday, September 17, from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. as they share a practical, heart-based approach to improving bad attitudes. Parents of children ages 2-18 will learn practical ideas to help address the hearts of your kids. This seminar is entertaining, encouraging and life-changing. Cost is $10 per person, which includes dessert and childcare by advanced reservation (by Sept. 9). Married couples are encouraged to attend together.

Congratulations Danny Downing!

On April 16, 2010, Danny Downing was presented by The Association of Church Sports and Recreation Ministers with the Bob Sessoms Award. This award, named after the first president of the organization, is presented to a church professional each year in recognition of outstanding service in equipping the local church to change lives through sport. CSRM is an international organization of sports and recreation ministers.

Worship Service Times and Information

Welcome to Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. We desire to make your first visit to our church as easy as possible. Our Sunday Worship Services are held at 8:30, 9:50 and 11:15 a.m. At each service time we have a blended traditional service in our Sanctuary and also, while our church building in under construction, we hold our contemporary service in Underground Church. Please look for signs upon entering the building.

Let Us Pray for You

At Johnson Ferry, our prayer ministry is our most valuable resource. Our prayer line is equipped to handle incoming prayer requests 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Numerous volunteers listen to those calling, encouraging them and praying with them to our God who promises to meet our every need. In the prayer room, many hours are spent with volunteers on their knees before the throne interceding for the needs of others from within the family of Johnson Ferry to beyond the borders of our state.

First Contact is a program that ministers to the expectant parent from the time they learn they are having a baby until just after he/she is born. Throughout the nine months the mother is contacted and prayed with on a regular basis in person, by phone, or by e-mail and social media to see how she is doing. First Contact wants to be the first ministry in the church to ministry to the unborn child and parents.
