ITBS testing will be available for 3rd – 8th grades. Deadline for registration is March 30, 2012 and space is limited. Testing will be on Tuesday, May 8, and Wednesday, May 9, 2012, from 8:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. Actual testing times vary within this time frame. The Vision
The vision of Timothy Ministry is to provide enrichment classes for home school students.
"Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe." 1 Timothy 4:12
The Timothy Ministry, "Grooming Kids for Christian Service" is a Lay Ministry of Johnson Ferry designed to develop young servants in the spirit of the apostle Paul.
Paul wrote some awesome words to young Timothy.
- 2 Timothy 4:7b says, "…discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness."
- 2 Timothy 4:12 says,"Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe."
- 2 Timothy 4:14a says,"Do not neglect the spiritual gifts within you."
There are many young people in our church that have expressed a desire to serve our Lord Jesus and now they have a program to do just that!
The Timothy Ministry is self-funded and hires teachers skilled in the area of study. There is a registration fee of $20 per year/child and Class Fees average around $5.50 per class/week. Some classes have an additional Material Fee. Limited scholarships will be available each session for both Johnson Ferry members and non-members.
